Paradisi at sea, twenty islands to discover
From Alicudi Kvarken archipelago in Finland: the little destinations visited by tourists, offer beauty, nature, peace
If you want the peace and beauty of pure white sandy beaches you have to look elsewhere. But without going to the Caribbean or the Seychelles. The British newspaper Guardian went hunting for small (or tiny) offshore in the seas that lap the European continent. It has identified twenty, from Finland to Greece. Two are in Italy: Alicudi and Procida. And then the French island of Porquerolles, Porto Santo in Madeira, the Vega, Norway, Greece Amorgos, Lopud in Croatia. NOTHING
Self - measuring a few square kilometers, often turns to walk (not least because many have no access to cars) and have little or nothing of tourist facilities, a hotel, a few restaurants. No nightlife, but stretches of beaches where you can walk without a fight and watch seals and many bird species. Nature Reserves where to look beautiful plants, moving bike, breathe fresh air. Places close to us, to discover.
PS Entertainment! Alicudi electricity arrived in 1990!
